Our Story
Built in Durham.
For Durham.
Castle Exterminators opened in Durham in 2011 as a family-owned, locally owned pest control company. Our goal was simple: run the kind of company we would want to hire ourselves — one that inspects carefully, explains what it finds and puts the price in writing before any work begins.
Fifteen years later, we're still family-owned and still based in Durham. Customers often mention our lead exterminator, Alex, by name in their Google reviews, and that personal service is the reason we stay small and local.
We hold NC Structural Pest Control License #1979PW, we're insured, and we serve Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Hillsborough and Raleigh.
What we believe
Four things we won't compromise on.
Careful, targeted treatment
EPA-registered products applied according to label directions, with product-specific preparation and re-entry guidance when a treatment calls for it.
Written estimates
Pest inspections and estimates are free, and you'll have the price in writing before any work begins.
Return treatments
On qualifying plans, if covered pests come back between scheduled visits, so do we — at no extra charge, as set out in your agreement.
Hyper-local
We're based in Durham and know the Triangle's pest seasons, older crawl-space homes and new subdivisions.
Milestones
